TFT Set 5: 11.10 Patch Notes

On Sunday May 9th Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer provided stream viewers with the 11.10 Patch Rundown. He prefaced the rundown with a disclaimer that there are likely to be further changes to these adjustments. Keep an eye on this site and his twitter @Mortdog for any last minute changes.

There are a large number of changes in this patch, but some are slight nudges. 3 cost units and shadow items received the largest adjustments, so be on the lookout for new breakout 3 cost carries as the meta changes.

Update: As promised, I’ve updated notes on Cavalier, Lissandra, Vayne, Sett, and Draven with Mort’s last minute changes.

Traits & Origins

Abomination

Abomination took a hard hit during PBE. Players put 3 Zz’Rot Portals on their Abomination units and created an unstoppable monster. Riot slapped a quick fix onto the problem before Set 5 went live and disabled the monster from producing the Zz’Rot Construct Monster upon death. They buffed abomination and re-enabled the Construct, albeit with lowered stats. A description of that adjustment can be found in the items section of these notes.

Each time the holder casts their ability, they deal 15% of their maximum health to themselves as true damage.

Bug Fixes

  1. Spell crits from Jeweled Gauntlet and Assasin will continue to work even if the caster dies
  2. Dawnbringers will now properly die to large instances of damage even if their healing effect has yet to trigger
  3. Lux will no longer fail to cast her spell if her target ally was too far away
  4. Allies will no longer chase targets that Syndra is tossing
  5. Revenant “revive available” visuals are now properly removed once the revive effect has been triggered
  6. Rell’s spell now correctly triggers Trap Claw
  7. The Monstrosity no longer gains 100 bonus health at all trait levels
  8. Heimerdinger turret now fires correctly in ghost armies
  9. Units will now more responsively recognize that Wolf has moved when he leaps to the Lamb to heal her, rather than waiting for his second leap to recognize his new position
  10. Staff Drop damage skin has better sync between staff impact and damage numbers
  11. Fixed a bug where stacking multiple Ionic Dark Sparks only granted the AP from one Ionic Dark Spark
  12. Verdant no longer blocks the damage from Thresh’s ability
  13. Viego will no longer attempt to cast on his target if his target goes untargetable
